    Whatever your background you can coach; and Sporting Schools offers the perfect opportunity to get started, connecting coaches within local communities at the school and club level.


    Sporting Schools offers coaches the opportunity to:

    • belong to Australia’s largest ever sport participation program;
    • connect to national sporting organisations (NSO) and state sporting organisations;
    • gain access to quality NSO coaching resources;
    • enhance and develop new skills;
    • build relationships, establish new networks and gain community recognition;
    • gain access to a range of training and development opportunities;

    Coaches, teachers, organisations or individuals who want to be involved in delivering the Sporting Schools program can do so by contacting our partner NSO sports. They know how to register, what the minimum requirements are and the next available workshops in your region or what’s available online.     NOTE: Teacher aides/school learning support officers (SLSOs) can only deliver sport packages marked as ‘Coach Delivered package’ and will need to become a coach with the relevant NSO.
