    Changes to the acquittal form


    We have made some improvements to the Sporting Schools acquittal form and this will take effect from the Term 4, 2016 acquittal process.

    These changes will make it easier for schools to provide details of their Sporting Schools programs and provide evidence they have delivered in accordance with the Funding Guidelines (Program Parameters and Terms and Conditions).

    Now schools can:

    • view their funding, grant application, and booking details side by side;
    • edit program expenses that are pre-populated from Booking System details; and
    • complete a short form acquittal if they have no program expenses to declare because they did not deliver a Sporting Schools program during the funding period.


    Important Changes

    Schools now need to:

    • Categorise expenses firstly by Sport then by Expense Type

    e.g. collate all your tennis program expenses, and then breakdown into itemised equipment, coach delivery costs etc.

    Please note that you can only select a NSO partner sport.



    • Enter an amount of $0 (zero) for confirmed Sport Package bookings that did not run.

    You will need to edit the pre-populated Program Expense for a confirmed Sport Package. Please note that you cannot delete a pre-populated Program Expense.



    Schools that receive Sporting Schools funding must complete the acquittal and reporting processes for each funded term. When acquittals open, you can access the online form via the Sporting Schools portal on the website. Refer to ‘How do I complete my acquittal? for a detailed step-by-step process.

    Note: acquittals still need to be completed and submitted in one session as the form cannot be saved.
